Before starting MDL Insurance Solutions in 2022, Brendan and his father spent decades working inside the insurance industry — learning the products, the carriers, and most importantly, what clients actually need when something goes wrong.
What they kept running into was the same problem: agents who were limited to one company's products, or sales models built around volume instead of fit. A client would come in with a real need and walk out with the closest available product — not necessarily the right one.
Starting MDL as an independent agency was the answer to that. As independents, we're not locked into any single carrier. We shop your risk across 100+ markets and bring you real options — not the one product we're required to sell.
We're licensed in Arizona, Iowa, and Missouri, with plans to expand as the agency grows. Whether you're a homeowner in Scottsdale, a contractor in Phoenix, or a small business owner in Des Moines — we work the same way: find the best fit, explain it plainly, and be there when you need us.
